About the Program

The Five Pillars 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training is a powerful and transformative step on your Yoga journey. As you invite this deeper level of study and integration, you’ll uncover layers of your own practice that will enrich and inspire your life, and you will develop the tools needed to safely and authentically teach from a place of embodied experience. Over the course of the training you will learn the history of Yoga and explore its philosophical tenets. The Five Pillars of a Total Yoga Lifestyle will serve as tools to bring these ancient practices and philosophies into your and your students’ lives today.


You will graduate equipped to lead Creative & Dynamic Vinyasa Flow
along with complementary Yoga Therapeutic Essentials.

This is a Yoga Alliance Accredited Training.

Upon successful completion of the program you will be qualified and eligible to become a certified Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200).

 

 

 

The TEAM

 


The program will be directed by:

Olga Palladino – Olga is an ERYT-200 certified Yoga teacher and YACEP, and also the co-founder of Five Pillars Yoga. She has been practicing since 2002, and undertook her teacher training with Isaac Peña at Sanakalpah School of Yoga. She continued with advanced training under Colleen Saidman & Rodney Yee at Yoga Shanti. Olga has been teaching yoga in New York and the Hamptons since 2009, specializing in dynamic and creative vinyasa, rooted in strength, humility & humor.

Erika Mehiel – Erika is an ERYT-500 certified Yoga teacher and YACEP, specializing in Therapeutic Essentials, Restorative and Yin practices. She is a member of the Drugless Practitioners of America and a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She practiced for about 12 years before pursuing her teacher trainings under under Don Brahmanand & Amba Stapelton at the Nosara Yoga Institute, mentoring for numerous YTTs there. Erika is passionate about an elemental approach to wellness and an inquiry-based approach to the practice of yoga.

Faculty includes Jeffrey Villanueva, Jacob Kyle, Jimmy Nataraj Burgio & David Regelin, joined by Faculty Mentors. This stellar teaching staff will share their expertise in yogic philosophy, hands-on assists, inversions, meditation, vinyasa and more. Faculty Mentors will also serve as touchstones throughout the program offering support, guidance and feedback.

Special guest lecturers include Joe Miller, a premiere anatomy & physiology specialist, and Dr. Eden Fromberg, a holistic OBGYN and leading pre-natal Yoga teacher.

 

Program Schedule

This integrative YTT is structured to fit into your active professional and personal life. Sessions will be held on one weekend per month, for a total of 8 sessions, enabling you to incorporate your studies and deepening practice into your every-day living.

In addition to the weekend schedule, communication and meetings with your Study Partner, homework assignments, and weekly studio class attendance will strengthen your connection to the material in between sessions.

 

Classes will meet Friday evenings, all day Saturday and all day Sunday
Students must also attend 2 studio classes per week
Makeup sessions are limited, available case-by-case, and will incur a fee outside of program costs.




PreRequisites

A willing heart, a curious mind, and the desire to deepening your Yoga practice as a step towards
actualizing your personal and/or professional goals.

It is recommended that you have been practicing consistently for one year leading up to the training.

All applications will be considered.

TUITION

• Early Bird Pricing – $3250 if paid in full by July 31, 2018

• Regular Tuition Cost – $3750 paid in full by Sept 1, 2018

• Application deposit – $250 – payable via link on the application page.
  Deposit is non-refundable if accepted into the program.
  Upon acceptance into the program, deposit will be applied to tuition.
  Deposit will be returned on applications that are not accepted.


Tuition includes unlimited yoga at the Five Pillars Studio for the duration of the program 
as well as the course manual and certificate of completion.
You will also be responsible for purchasing additional required texts.
