Where are you from?
I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio

How did you come to Yoga? How and when did your yoga practice begin?
I came do yoga on a fitness quest, I found it to be so much more.  I began practicing in/around 2002.

Who inspires you?
My mom, who passed away almost 10 years ago.

How would you describe your teaching style?
Asana-focused, strong but sophisticated flow, with a lightness because I like it to be fun!

Which posture helps you Go Deep?
Today I’d answer Gomukasana (Cow Face Pose).  Hips, IT band, shoulders— all good. I can really breathe into the pose and create space. Tomorrow I might answer differently though!

Silence or music in class?
Music.  It tends to reach everyone and bring us together. My plays lists are eclectic — from singer/songwriters to chanting to Led Zeppelin to Luther Vandross!

Do you have a spirit animal?  
Mama bear.

Right Intention.  Because it’s important to be grounded with purpose as we create our own way
