Where are you from?
“My place is the Placeless, my trace is the Traceless; ‘Tis neither body nor soul, for I belong to the soul of the Beloved.” — Rumi
…. But I was born in Yonkers, New York.

How did you come to Yoga?
I’ve always had a deep love for the paranormal, this led me to discover a personal range of feeling, listening, hearing, breathing and believing. For me the yoga practice offers a science just as it equally offers a mystic formula for a connected and beneficial livelihood. It compliments my personal beliefs and amplifies my personal power and health.

What inspires you?
I am inspired daily by #TheRoarriorTribe, the community of healers, truth leaders, athletes, artists, doctors, and more spectrums of humanity that practice with me.
I am inspired by the limitless compassion and kindness of Oprah Winfrey.
I am inspired to the max by anyone new to Yoga, the beginning of this journey is where the truth of this practice really is.

Which posture helps you Go Deep?
Tadasana, the standing mountain, is the deepest and fullest I feel while breathing in a posture. It represents acceptance, strength, vulnerability and houses the holy trinity. The Sky, The Earth, the Human Being.

Do you have a Spirit Animal?
I have a few. My most personal is the Dolphin. It represents balance and harmony, cooperation, joy and playfulness.

Current favorite inspirational quote?
It only takes a reminder to breathe, a moment to be still, and just like that, something in me settles, softens, makes space for imperfection. The harsh voice of judgment drops to a whisper and I remember again that life isn’t a relay race; that we will all cross the finish line; that waking up to life is what we were born for. — Danna Faulds

Personal motto or mantra?
“I Am Fully Present”

Complete the sentence: I practice because…
I was born to live.

Favorite Sutra?
yoga-aṅga-anuṣṭhānād-aśuddhi-kṣaye jñāna-dīptir-āviveka-khyāteḥ
From steadfastly following after the means of Yoga, until impurity is worn away, there comes the illumination of thought up to full discernment. [2:28]
