Where are you from?
Born in Brooklyn, NY, raised in Marlboro, NJ.

How did you come to Yoga? How and when did your yoga practice begin?
I first found yoga in an acting class. The purpose was to find neutral body alignment and a centered state of mind from which to build our characters.

Who inspires you? 
Seane Corn, my teacher Dr. Stephanie Marango, my students, Simone de Beauvoir…

How would you describe your teaching style?
My classes are focused on breath, sweat, alignment, rhythm and repetition. They are reactive and intelligent, incorporating dynamic movements and fluid transitions to dive deeply into your body and breath… allowing you to tap into what lies beyond the physical and to dance with spirit.

Which posture helps you Go Deep?
King Pigeon Pose.

Silence or music in class?
I love practicing and teaching with all types of music from jazz to R&B to electronica to Gregorian chants. Music can enrich the experience of a practice if done right.

Do you have a spirit animal?
A wolf

Which of the Five Pillars most resonates with you (right now)? 
With our intentions, we have the power to take ownership over our actions, words, and lives. Through of asana and pranayama, we practice EMBODYING INTENTION. Practicing this on our mats eventually follows us into our lives, giving us the skills to live, breathe, and move with clear intentions. Intention sparks action.
